Hi, I am Tony K Boatright.

These are my books.  The stories I write challenge your imagination. Just like catching up with old friends, you will be waiting to hear what happens next in their life.

I feel compelled to write their stories. These are now in a form to be shared.  My book list contains completed works and books in progress.

Editing to tweak my books is a constant temptation.  A common problem among writers.  That is why I consider everything a work in progress until it is finally published.  Only publishing will stop me from adding more depth and small enhancements to my stories.

There are stand alone novels and world-building series.  All unpublished titles should be considered working titles and subject to change.

Children’s Books

A convergence of events resulted in me writing these children’s books. First, I was encouraged by my friend Sybil Rosen after she sold her picture book. Next, I was inspired by my goddaughter Ariana. For her 5th birthday, I gave her 5 books and discovered the joy of reading with a child. Now, I love to read with her anytime she wants to read.

My first picture books were directly inspired by Ariana’s childhood awe. Writing books that educate while they entertain is my goal. We all must encourage the enthusiasm and imagination of children.

  • Exploring the Solar System
    • A cardboard box, a book, and imagination take two kids on an educational space adventure. 
    • Book 1:  Suzie & Billy Visit the Inner Planets: Mercury, Venus and the Sun
    • Book 2:  Suzie & Billy Visit the Inner Planets: Mars and the Asteroid Belt
    • Book 3:  Suzie & Billy Visit the Outer Planets: Jupiter and Saturn
    • Book 4:  Suzie & Billy Visit the Outer Planets: Uranus and Neptune 
  • I Am Not A Toy
    • A kid-friendly story on disability etiquette.  Tommy’s classmates at his new school are too friendly.  He is unhappy with them pushing his chair without asking.  His teacher helps him tell them about life using a wheelchair.  
  • Grimena Can’t Fly
    • A 13 year old witch in a wheelchair wants to fly on brooms like the other kids.  Her non-magical step-father and magical aunt surprise her.  
  • Justin’s i-Chair: Powered by Imagination
    • People see a young boy in a wheelchair.  What they do not know is when his chair is not in stealth mode it takes him on fantastic adventures.
    • Book 1:  Jet Patrol
      • Justin protect the nation by converting his wheelchair into a F-22 fighter jet.  
    • Book 2:  Exploring the Sun  
      • Curiosity send Justin to outer space
    • Book 3:   Nobel Prize  The Nobel Committee wants t give Justin a Nobel Prize for his incredible i-chair.   
    • Book 4:  Submarine Adventure (Coming 2024)  
    • Book 5:  Ocean Exploration (Coming 2024)
